The Root Saw

is designed to be used when the root blockage is to heavy for a root auger.

The Root Saw works best when attached to a Power rodder which provides a consistent and powerful turning action. This will rip out most root blockages.

Rubber Plunger

The Rubber Plunger

is designed to be used to loosen blockages caused by soft material.

It can also be used as a finishing tool.

To Use:

Connect to the rods and insert into the pipeline. Use a pumping action to create waves in the pipeline. After a few seconds, remove the plunger and check to see if the water is flowing. If not, do it again. Once flowing, flush the pipe.

Root Auger

The Root Auger

The Root Auger is designed to be used to remove a root blockage from the pipeline.

To Use:

Attach the tool to the end of the rods and insert into the pipeline. When the blockage is reached, rotate the rods. Once the auger is screwed into the roots, use a pump action to cut the root hairs.

If the roots cannot be cut, use a root saw with a power rodder.

Be sure to complete this process, by using a Flat Wire Brush after using your Root Auger to shave back any left over roots in your pipe.

Double Worm

The Double Worm

is designed to pick up soft material such as clothing or soft leaves.

If you find that the single worm screw cannot grab the blockage because its too soft, its time to use this tool.

To Use:

Attach to the end of the rods and insert into the pipe. Push until you feel the blockage. Rotate then pull back.

Flexiback Root Auger

The Flexiback Root Auger

The Flexiback Root Auger is designed to be used when you need to clear roots but you also need flexibility to navigate tight bends.

To Use:

The tool is attached to the end of the rods and inserted into the pipeline. The auger is screwed into the roots and a pumping action is used to cut the roots. Once the roots are cut, they can be pulled back out of the manhole.

Flat Wire Brush

The Flat Wire Brush

The Flat Wire Brush is designed to be used as a finishing tool for scouring the walls of the pipeline after the blockage has been cleared.

Doing this will extend the time before you will need to return to clear the same pipeline.

This is also a good tool for removing the last bit of sand in a silted pipeline.

Flexiworm

The Flexiworm

is designed to be used where a single worm is needed but where it will not go round the bends or cannot go through a rodding eye because it is not flexible enough.

The Flexiworm is used in the same way as the Single Worm but has the added advantage of extra flexibility.

If you are doing a lot of work in areas where access is difficult, you will want a flexiworm rather than a single worm as your primary tool.

Rock Borer

The Rock Boring Worm Screw

is designed to be used when the pipeline is filled with small rocks and stones.

The most frequent occuring problem that this tool is used for is to clear pipelines that have been blocked after a storm has carried alot of debris into the sewer system. This tool does not remove the debris, but instead is used to get the water flowing again.

Once the water is flowing, other tools such as the Drop Scraper can be used to remove the debris.
